And the one thing you'll discover that doesn't change is our commitment to the very best service as well as the right combination of quality and value. While our full team of dedicated professionals is larger, you will find at least seven of us on active duty most weeks. Our pharmacists are supported by the whole team, making sure that when you pay us a visit for whatever reason, you’ll find a friendly face ready with exactly the help you’re looking for. When it comes to combining 30 years of pharmacy experience with a passion for providing the community with a readily accessible source of quality health care and information, Alistair believes Buderim Pharmacy has few local peers. The primary health care provided by his team, his own 15 years of service to the Buderim community generally, and his dedicated attention to the needs of Buderim Pharmacy customers in particular defines Alistair's reputation for community engagement and service. It also makes him a worthy role model for up and coming pharmacists.
Caleb's friendly and engaging manner, together with his philosophy of healthy customers creating a healthy community 'where l live' underpins his approach to pharmacy. Highly collaborative and always willing to go that bit further for the best results, Caleb claims to be on a journey of continuous professional development. He believes preventative health measures to stop a disease like diabetes is better than treating the disease, and pharmacists play an important part in monitoring within our community.
Emily is a new mum, a nurse and a pharmacist, although the 'new mum' role is dominating her life at present. She is currently taking some leave but will soon be back and is looking forward to returning to active professional duties. Emily is highly regarded for her commitment to ensuring the most positive health outcomes and she has a particular interest in assisting with diabetic patient care. Baby care is now also likely to be one of Emily's areas of professional focus!
A great listener with a special interest in nutrition, herbal medicine, and quality of life. Gillian's experience as a volunteer in palliative care has shaped her holistic approach to pharmacy. 'Every customer gets the very best I can give them', says Gillian. Her quiet, conscientious approach together with the deep care and high regard she has for her customers has created strong and lasting connections over the years.
With her easy going manner, sharp mind and attention to the smallest details, Buderim Pharmacy's newest pharmacist Helen gets particular satisfaction from building long term professional relationships with her customers and helping them understand more about the factors that impact their health. Helen's experience in diverse cultural and socio-economic settings gives her the knowledge and confidence to address the widest range of health needs. She has a special interest in improving outcomes through the use of quality medicines, particularly when it comes to cardiovascular health.
Jenny counts well researched information, trust and confidentiality among the important benefits she provides for her customers. Her years of experience in Oncology and Haematology, together with her empathetic and enthusiastic personality translate to a valuable resource for our customers. Skin disorders, asthma and heart disease are other areas of particular interest to Jenny, chiefly because of her personal involvement in family member disease management in these areas.
Pam thrives on helping people along each step in a health management or recovery journey because she understands that real solutions usually require more than a short term fix. She also has a particular interest in cardio-vascular and lifestyle conditions like diabetes where the right interventions lead to results you can see. And she is passionate about quality First Aid, including wound care and effective post-operative treatments leading to good healing outcomes. Pam has a real passion for contributing to community health and wellbeing and is very happy to be working in a traditional pharmacy environment.
A mum with five kids in six years, including twins. 20 years in pharmacy with special interests in Family Health (baby care, child and mother’s health), Aged Care and Mental Health. Deeply involved in school and community activities, Rosalie enjoys taking time to understand customers’ concerns and needs with her compassionate, practical and down-to-earth approach shining through, especially when it’s about children and parenting.
